Chris has over 13 years’ experience acting for NASDAQ and ASX listed companies that supply technology solutions in a broad range of industries. He also acts for startups, private multinational technology companies and organisations acquiring complex technology systems. He has significant experience negotiating multi-million dollar technology transactions with global corporations and government bodies.

Chris advises on the full spectrum of technology solutions and provides counsel in relation to IT licensing, procurement, cloud computing (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS), privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, IT consulting, managed services, technology development, hardware, IoT, systems integration, outsourcing and intellectual property. He also advises in relation to corporate law matters including shareholder arrangements, business structuring, business sales & acquisitions, venture capital & private equity fundraising and corporate governance.

Chris has extensive experience both as in-house counsel and as a lawyer in private practice. He was Senior Legal Counsel at Oracle Corporation (including Netsuite and Aconex) and Legal Counsel at Xero Limited. Chris also worked as a lawyer at national firms Thomson Geer, Macpherson Kelley Lawyers and KHQ Lawyers.
